Builder: Fortuna Catamarans, Cape Town, South Africa
Designer/Owner: Alan Whitley (Owner of Fortuna Catamarans at time of build)
Launched: 2004 (waterline/LOA extended to 43’ in recent refit)

Alleycat is a privately owned Island Spirit catamaran with exceptional pedigree. She was built by Fortuna Catamarans in Cape Town when the yard was owned by Allan Whitley—and she has been owned by Alan since new (One Owner) Alleycat has never been chartered and has been used solely as a long-term private cruising yacht.

Alan began full-time cruising in 2009, sailing from South Africa and steadily refining Alleycat into a true long-range, self-sufficient blue-water catamaran.
